Bethany Gross joined Indiana University Internal Audit as an operations auditor in July 2026. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana University and an Associate Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech Community College. Prior to joining Internal Audit, Bethany worked as a finance specialist at the IU School of Education. She also held positions in admissions and financial aid at Ivy Tech Community College. Earlier in her career, she worked as a classroom teacher, primarily teaching middle school mathematics.

In her leisure time, she enjoys attending sporting events, traveling, going to concerts, spending time with her cats, and listening to Taylor Swift.
